The Century Cinema originally opened in 1936 boasting 1743 seats.

In 1967 the cinema was split into a bingo hall and 2 auditoriums.

The car park in front of the cinema is the property of Buzz Bingo. As such, any tickets issued to our customers is out of our control.

We cannot take any responsibility if a parking charge is received.

The nearest pay & display car park is located off Wellesley Road.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are committed to provide facilities that meet the requirements of all our customers.

This includes – but is not limited to – Autism and Sensory Friendly Screenings of popular family films on a regular basis, which are presented without adverts or trailers, with lower volume and the lights are left on low.

The whole building is strictly monitored to ensure as little 'sensory overload' as possible.

Subtitled Screenings are held regularly which clearly display dialogue and essential sound cues on screen. For more information, contact the Box Office.

At  Century Cinema, we have ramped access into the Cinema. There is a lift that takes you to the first floor.  

In Screen 1,  there is a lift  for the stairs and there is a disabled toilet near the Sales area.

We welcome the use of The Cinema Exibitors' Association Card (CEA).

This is a national card that can be used to verify that the holder is entitled to an extra ticket, free of charge, for someone to accompany them to the cinema.
